Exchange Member Honoree:

Vincent J. Freccia III

Will be awarded the Book of Golden Deeds

The Exchange Club of Stamford honors Vincent J. Freccia III for his years of dedicated service to the Stamford area and its residents and for his commitment to protecting local children from child abuse and neglect, in keeping with The Exchange Club’s primary mission. 


The prominent Stamford attorney has devoted his talents, resources and countless hours to supporting local child abuse prevention efforts and bringing people together to participate in numerous community improvement programs and activities. 


Joining The Exchange Club of Stamford in 1988, Vin has been President, Secretary and Director of the volunteer service organization.  For 17 years, he helped guide The Exchange Club Parenting Skills Center - now HELP for Kids - serving as Board Member and Secretary.  He is currently an Advisor to the Center’s Board.


Vin chaired the highly-successful Annual Exchange Club Partnership Golf Tournament for the prevention of child abuse for 12 years, raising over $600,000.  He has marched and passed out flags at countless Veterans Day Parades, worked with The Salvation Armys Holiday Bell Ringing program, and strengthened ties between the community and the Exchange Club over the years.


Born and raised in Stamford, Vin has distinguished himself as a leader of professional associations and many important civic, business, cultural and community service organizations.  He Co-Chaired Stamford’s City Charter Revision Commission, has been Member, Vice-Chair and Counsel of the Republican Town Committee, and Chairmen of Stamford’s Fire Commission.  The former Glenbrook Fire Company Volunteer Fire Fighter has also participated in The Knights of Columbus, UNICO, Little League, and Youth Soccer, among other activities.


Practicing at the Stamford-based Law Offices of Vincent J. Freccia, III,  Vin has concentrated in areas of real estate transactions, litigation, bankruptcy, estate planning, probate and other general practice areas for 38 years.  He graduated from Providence College, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, and earned his Juris Doctorate Degree from Quinnipiac University, formerly University of Bridgeport School of Law.


Vin raised his three sons in Stamford and resides here today, with his wife Cathy.
